vsmecap ("we") respects your privacy and follows UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Bill details stay in your browser

Bill figures, meter numbers (MPAN/MPRN), periods and kWh you enter into the demos or bill checker are processed only in your browser's memory. They are not uploaded to or stored on our servers, and are cleared when you close or refresh the page.

What we do receive

• Beta sign-up details you submit through our form: name, work email, company, team size and role. These are stored securely so we can manage beta access.
• Emails you choose to send us (e.g. via the chat button or workpaper request), including your name, work email and message.
• Basic technical logs from our hosting provider needed to keep the site running securely.

How we use it

Only to reply to you, manage beta access and improve the service. We do not sell your data or use advertising trackers.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time by emailing info@vsmecap.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
